About The Gudimallam Temple:

               Sri Parasurameswara Swami Temple is located in Gudimallam Village in Chittore District of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva here  called as “Parasurameswara”. The Shiva Linga in the Garbhagruha to be the earliest Linga assigned to the 2nd or 1st century B.C. The name of Parasurameswara temple is mentioned in Inscriptions. 

                                                   According to the legend Lord Parasurama killed his mother by order of his father Jamadagni. Jamadagni wan to be rewarded  his son. Parasurama asked his mother back to life.
